Before We Get Started
Your prep checklist + the most common questions, all in one place.
-
Kids & Pets
For everyone’s safety, please keep children and pets away from the work area during your project. Roofing can be loud, and materials and tools may be hazardous. Treat the outside of your home as a work zone until the job is complete. -
The Yard
Your roof is secured with thousands of nails, and with the catch-all system we use, we take cleanup seriously. Our team uses magnets to collect debris and aims to pick up nearly everything. Please keep grass trimmed so we can do a thorough sweep. If we miss anything, just let us know and we will return to take care of it. -
Satellite Dishes
If you have a satellite dish or antenna, let us know if it needs to be reattached after your project. We will do our best to reset it, but you may need to contact your provider to fine tune or restore the signal. -
The Attic and Walls
Roofing work can cause vibration during installation and removal. We recommend using your best judgment to cover or remove items from walls, shelves, and attic areas to prevent shifting or damage. -
Move Breakables
Before we get started, please move or protect items around your home. This includes potted plants, grills, patio furniture, and landscaping outside. -
The Driveway
Materials and dumpster will be delivered prior to installation day on pallets and placed near your home. Please make sure there is enough space for our crew and equipment.
